Work out all the ins and outs of your team.
One requirement only: you must have a way to work together as a team. Like a rock band, so great work but not necessary to get along.

HOW WE GET ALONG
No one: “I feel like I’ve been here before...”

Re: HOW WE GET ALONG
Shrike has a fixer called Amber who could have brought them together
Re: HOW WE GET ALONG
Even though Mulpa is Prejudiced towards Elves, he will work with/for them... just don't expect him to socialize with them... or like them
Mulpa
Re: HOW WE GET ALONG
If it helps, Mulpa could look at Wraith as being a Changeling rather than an elf, what with the whole kitsunemimi thing going on
Shrike, what sort of social circles does your Fixer hang out in; perhaps they know Wraith's fixer (who runs in a variety of social circles, thanks to various background traits)

I can... I just don't want for that Hindrance to be free points for no penaltyAlyfox wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 12:40 am If it helps, Mulpa could look at Wraith as being a Changeling rather than an elf, what with the whole kitsunemimi thing going on

Re: HOW WE GET ALONG
Thats fair, though there are other elves around! I suppose being both elf and kitsunemimi-looking will be extra weird/prejudicial, hehMulpa wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 1:46 amI can... Re: HOW WE GET ALONG
I've not really defined my Fixer's social circles, so possible. What circles does yours move in?Alyfox wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 12:40 am If it helps, Mulpa could look at Wraith as being a Changeling rather than an elf, what with the whole kitsunemimi thing going on

Shrike is ex-military, though persona non grata
Re: HOW WE GET ALONG
Without going into too much meta-detail, Ishikawa Shiori is:
1> kind of upper-middle/lower-upper society (inheritance rather than by blood),
2>yakuza (shotozumi-gumi 'middle manager'),
3> similar sort of level with the local Parashield office (is a hermetic mage),
4> her ex (dead) husband was a lower-level manger with MCT, and she still has a few friends/connections there (nothing really good, but better than zero),
5> the seattle japanese community (is a JIS citizen, and so also has friends/contacts at home - mainly Kyouto).
Since its low/medium level across several different areas I wasnt sure how best to reflect that, so I've tentatively given her a connection rating of 5, and since she and Wraith are related (cousins) I sunk a fair number of points into Loyalty as well (its important to Wraiths backstory). Its a lot of points into one contact, so I do have the 'all the eggs in one basket' concern, but Im hoping the high Loyalty will help there (ie, less likely to betray/burn).. it does mean Wraiths other contacts are much lower level but since she's only been in Seattle for a year (ish - depends on the actual in-game date) that makes some sense to me

Re: HOW WE GET ALONG
Amber is not really defined, but with Shrike following Bushido code like all good street sam should, Amber could also be linked into the Seattle Japanese community
Re: HOW WE GET ALONG
Tulpa is a decker barely scraping by. He has some raw skill and potential, but his current lifestyle has stymied his upward progression.
He is loyal to his friends but currently does not have many. Given a crew and some focus, he may prove to be a force to be recconed with in the matrix.
His skills rely solely on the technical; he is an amazing decker and has some limited rigging skills. He grew up in Seattle and knows most of its streets, at least in passing.
