He looks at the mug and shrugs, taking a quick slip.

"Guessing its just what's on the menu then. In which case, I'll order a Soy Burger with all the trimmings please," he responds without missing a beat to the waitress. though you'll have to do a bit better to get a decent tip.

Mulpa wrote:"Tea... Hot chocolate?!? Trust an Elf to drink those. Why didn't you just ask for some wine?"
The comment draws the elf's attention, shifting again to search out the voice (a feat helped with various cyber-implants); she offers a polite nod to the dwarf, then shrugs. "Those are my preferred drinks when the weather is cold and damp like this. I generally avoid alcohol," the elf speaks up, then shrugs again before glancing off to where Linda is before looking back to the dwarf. "Besides which, I doubt a diner would serve wine."

Although the mention of food is a reminder to Wraith that she is hungry, the smells of the diner don't exactly entice her. Stifling another sigh, she looks to one of the menus, but hesitates to reach for it. 'Ehhh... why did Riley want to meet here of all places?' she ponders, the fox-like ears twitching backwards to briefly flatten against her hair before slowly righting themselves.

A thin, spindly man enters the diner, his hood raised over his face. Looking around the diner, Tulpa spots the badges and instinctively lowers his head a fraction of an inch as he slides into the nearest booth.

His clothes are grimy and simple. He has a messenger bag slung across his chest and an old, clunky looking Comms peice the size of a lunch box cliched to his chest with white knuckles. As soon as he sits down he keys a few buttons on the Commlink and the telltale lights of images begin flicking on the edges of his glasses. He talks to himself, quietly untill someone draws near, when he quiets untill they leave.

He drinks the soycaf offered and, counting the nuyen from his pocket before ordering, gets a slice of what ever passes for pie here also.

The humans Icon reads as Topher Meatheson. He is a pale Caucasian with uncut thin brown hair and an obvious lack of muscle mass. Topher has dark rings under his eyes and the tell tale signs of a few fresh bruises. His nails and dirty and chewed. His nose is runny and he quickly makes a small gathering of sticky napkins as he clears his wet sinuses. His eyes are blue, but almost always hidden behind his yellow tinted glasses that seem to be hooked into his comms unit.

After some time he notices Mulpa and freezes. "Fuck." He looks around, hoping he hasn't been spotted yet. He slumps lower into his booth.

With a polite nod and a raising of his mug to show he recognized the human decker, Mulpa stays relaxed and unthreatening.

Tulpa is up to date on his payments. I don't know why he is so worried. The Vory can't get their money back from him if we kill him. Getting him to help me in the shadows, however, is a way for him to get the nuyen to both pay us off and for him to get himself a replacement deck.

Sending Tulpa a quick message, "Don't worry... this you are up to date.", Mulpa keeps an eye on the customers, looking for any trouble that may need his intervention... or even just his observation.

Whilst he waits for his food, Shrike pulls out a cigarette and lights it up. He takes a long drag and blows out the smoke. Ever since he got back, he'd felt the need to light up every now and again. Thing was, he didn't remember when he started exactly. Was it during the missing months or just a reaction when he woke up. Still, he only needed a few a day. Pity his cyberware did not include anything that got rid of the side effects.

Tulpa relaxes slightly when Mulpa acknowledges him in a non hostile way. He rubs his arm tenderly, but doesn't remove the other from his comms unit; his fingers play along the bottom of the units casing, knowing exactly what's inside its hidden compartment, not to mention this old Comms-Unit would probably be the only means he would be able to make any Nuyen. Maybe he would just go dive some Host tonight and hope to get lucky.

His brain switches priorities as Mulpa once again invades his active thoughts. How am I going to get out of the Families thumb? Stop shopping at the Pharmacy. the answer was as obnoxious as it was simple. Tulpa knew he wasn't going to pass up such a reliable connection. At least untill he found a better one. So I need money. I could go legit and sign on to cubicle work. He almost laughs, the edge of a smile plays on his lips for a moment. Yeah, right. I wouldn't last a week. Swallow my pride and get a job with the family? Ide have income and all the pharma I want... Tulpa shakes his head, dismissing the thought. He wouldn't be able to work for a cartel that owned his debt. He would never be a free man again.

He scans the icons registering in the cafe's Host. I need to find a job. And fast. Who is going to hire a decker with no deck? He grinds his teeth. I can do basic work with this baby. But I need to get a deck ASAP. He growls to himself. I need money.

Sarge moves carefully through the dinner, his size casting shadows across patrons and empty booths and tables. Getting to the counter he takes up a spot against the wall leaning on the counter and using the wall support his massive size.

"Soycaf will be fine. Best just bring me a freshly brewed pot, ma'am."

Sarge leans carefully while sipping the soycaf. Being off the Rez he had almost forgotten why he was here. City life fades the visions.

As he lowers the container of soycaf, the latest vision in the Medicine Lodge began seeping back in.
Medicine Lodge Vision wrote: The smoke filled the Lodge and then the shadows and light played through the whispers.

"Brother Bear. Protect the White Shadow."

"The Elf-Sister known as Wraith."

Her image appears, then fades, replaced by the Stuffer Shack logo.

Sarge cocks his head to the side but gathers himself as the vision fades. As the smoke clears, Sarge is stowing his Rez officer gear and suiting up for the streets of Seattle.
